"By not taking birth in the earth we are wasting our days because those who live on earth are loved and blessed by Śiva, the Lord of Thiruperunthurai." wished Brahmā, who was born out of the lotus which emerged from the navel of Lord Viṣṇu. He (Brahmā) and other Devās wish for your grace and You. They say "O lord! Embrace and accept us just as you embrace the souls in your refuge." O nectar! My Lord, wake up from your sleep.

Just as a mother takes care of her sick child more than her other children even though she loves all of them equally, Śiva cares more for the souls of the earth than the Devās. Thus the Devās want to take birth on earth to be a part of Śiva's special grace.

I hope you liked this Thiruvempāvai and Thirupalliezhuchi series. Next Mārghazhi month we'll know about Āndal Nāciyār's Thirupāvai.

Hara! Hara!

Yours,

Śivapādahṛdaya.
